Fix Agent not Monitored or Gray state

Problem

SCOM Agent became grey out after deployment Agent and Windows O.S not monitored.

Solution

To fix this issue, Verify from following:

  1. Firewall Port 5723 and ports of DC Authentication are open.
  2. Antivirus allow SCOM Agent, monitoring Files and ports.
  3. Action Account isn’t lock down/out.
  4. DNS Resolution from MS to Agent and ViceVersa.
  5. Connectivity available between Agent and MS.
  6. Check this KB 2288515.
